Anti-roll bars for the Team Corally SBX-410

The time may come when you are no longer satisfied with the anti-roll bars that come with the Corally SBX-410 kit. According to the manual, the anti-roll bars in the kit are 1.4 mm in diameter. However, mine seem to be 1.2 mm in diameter. Possibly this is an error in the manual. Anyhow, if you would like to get other diameters, you face the problem that Corally has no other anti-roll bars for sale or at least in stock. After some searching, I found out that anti-roll bars for the current Xray XB4 fit the Corally SBX-410 well. The maximum diameter you can fit into the mounts on the arms is 1.8 mm. However, the space on the diff housing seems to be incorrectly designed. It does not allow free movement for diameters above 1.4 mm. You need to carefully widen the space, e.g. with a small drill. Once you did that, you should be able to fit Xray XB4 anti-roll bars of any size and they perform well.

 To be honest, this is a great kit. The manual of the SBX-410 is very good. If you follow all their instructions and get yourself the recommended tools, building the kit is very straight-forward. Different springs for the Team Corally SBX-410

The kit of the Team Corally SBX-410 comes with one set of springs, claimed to have a "medium" spring rate. These work fine in many circumstances, but eventually you may want to try either softer or harder springs. Unfortunately, Corally does not have such springs in stock. So, which springs from other vendors may fit? You can use springs from various vendors, as long as they have the appropriate diameter, length and your desired spring rate. As an example, I recently tried the blue springs of the Team Associated B74, and they work very well for me on Astroturf. They are a bit softer than the springs from the kit. However, there is one thing to keep in mind. Especially in the rear, the spring length of the B74 springs is a few millimeters too short, to set higher ride-heights.
