Different springs for the Team Corally SBX-410

The kit of the Team Corally SBX-410 comes with one set of springs, claimed to have a "medium" spring rate. These work fine in many circumstances, but eventually you may want to try either softer or harder springs. Unfortunately, Corally does not have such springs in stock. So, which springs from other vendors may fit?

You can use springs from various vendors, as long as they have the appropriate diameter, length and your desired spring rate. As an example, I recently tried the blue springs of the Team Associated B74, and they work very well for me on Astroturf. They are a bit softer than the springs from the kit.

However, there is one thing to keep in mind. Especially in the rear, the spring length of the B74 springs is a few millimeters too short, to set higher ride-heights. Thus, you also need to buy some spring cups with a higher offset. I believe the offset of the stock cups is +5 mm. I bought some with +9 mm offset. As an example, you can get such spring cups in the following set from Team Associated:
